"TEKNIK" Bulk Density Apparatus :

P-B7 : To determine the density of the powder graduated cylinder holded in clamps moves through motor up  and down direction at a frequency  rate between 28/32 cycles per minute through a distance of 5-6 cms. which strikes on a cushion fitted on the plateform. A timer is provided to set the duration.

"Teknik" bottle washing machine :

p-c4 : a compact hand operated machine suitable to fill two-part hard gelatine capsules no. 0, 1 & 2 by interchangeable plates. Main body made of heavy cast iron and all contact parts made of brass richly plated or stainless steel. Handle locking arrangment makes the operator to lift the loading plate without fear of damaging the capsules. Pressing is achieved by cam system which also saves time to press the plunger as compared to screw system. Plate of stainless steel for any one no. Is supplied with machine. "Teknik" cone blender : (double cone blender) p-c6 : consists of two s. S. Cones welded with a cylindrical shell and having charging and discharging at opposite ends mounted on a channel stand. Drive is by means of an electric motor & reduction gear box through a centre shaft. The cone is mounted on plummer blocks for easy movement there by ensuring through mixing. To facilitate easy movement of the cone while charging and discharging of the large units, a special inching arrangement is provided with the unit motor used are single phase.

"TEKNIK" Disintegrator:

P-D2 : Highly polished hooper dia 2". Complete with suitable motor to work on 220 V AC 50 Hz single phase. Fitted with 4 steel hammers fixed to a disc of dia. 1½" through which passes a shaft being revolved at the speed of approximately 3000 RPM. Hammers are enclosed in a drum. p-d3 : this equipment is used to determine dissolution rate of tablets and complies with us-pharamacopea-xvii. Standard with water constantly moving and holding temp. EM-31 : The instrument provides 50Hz stimulus current which can be adjusted 0.15mA to 330mA in discrete steps for producing minimal and supra maximal Seizures required in the assaying of anti-epileptic and anti-convulsant drugs. The application of stimulus current can be controlled by an electonic timer from 0.1 second to 1 second in steps of  0.1 to 3 seconds in  11 steps. An L.E.D. indicates the duration of stimulus.

"Teknik" Sonicator Bath / Ultra sonic cleaner :

EM-415 : The characteristic feature of ultrasonic cleaning is that the mechanical energy in the form of High Frequency, High Intensity, sound waves are irradiated in the cleaning liquid. This results in the build up & collapse of large number of vaccuum bubbles throughout the liquid. This phenomenon is known as Cavitation. It is responsible for special scrubbing action which ensures quick & thorough cleaning of all the immersed surfaces ( areas) that would othrwise be impossible to clean.
    By and large any kind of contamination can be cleaned Ultrasonically. Some are obviously easier to remove than others and the most difficult are those which are caked on to the material either by of time or by application of heat. In the later case some pre-treatment such as soaking may be required
    The fundamental point is that contamination is removable, Ultrasonics is more likely to do a thorough and probably faster job without causing any damage to the material than any method.
